Ali Chukwuma was a renowned Nigerian Igbo Highlife musician and bandleader, who formed “Peace Makers International” in the ’60s. Steeped in Nigeria’s musical traditions, he fused Nigerian rhythms and contemporary elements, mixing Igbo melodies with Western influences in his unique style. His soulful vocals and skilled guitar allowed him to address themes like love, societal issues, and living in harmony.
